Spoke N’ Heart has purchased liability insurance through the American Bicycle League.  We think that having liability insurance is a pretty great idea. Here’s why: if you get in a crash, and royally mess up someone’s car, or arm, or face, and they decide that it’s your responsibility to pay for their medical bills, the liability insurance will pay for it instead. phew! our liability insurance also comes with participant accident insurance, which means that if one of your riders gets in a crash and doesn’t have their own insurance, the liability insurance coverage will cover medical expenses (minus a $500 deductible).  Hubs that are interested in liability insurance can check out the League of American Bicyclists at www.bikeleague.org.  If you are joining Spoke N’ Heart on the Road to Detroit, you can obtain coverage under our liability insurance – see the sign-up page for more details.
